HC with five-knuckle hinges, initials to front, gold cuvette engraved "Presented to President N.S. Friedberg by the S.F. Bottle Dealers Association April 7, 1904.," glazed observation cover over mvt, white enamel DS dial, umbrella style hands, SW-SS, radiant fishscale pattern nickel damascene, s#600693. Gross weight of assembled watch 73.9 dwt (115.0 g). An elegant example of this attractive high grade watch.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, bright lustrous surfaces, few micro-fine scratches, some small marring to upper rim of center jewel setting; dial with scratching to outer chapter at 5 and 10, hl at 10, some micro-fine scratches elsewhere, small edge flakes under bezel near 6 and 10:30; excellent hands; case shows very little wear, two very mild soft dings to rear evident as slight small rippling of reflection, excellent engraving detail, front hinge with darkened replacement end-caps; tight bow, crown shows very little wear; good glass crystals.
